The simple answer is “It Depends.” We normally sell through our certified networks. With that said, if you happen to be in an area where our network does not reach, there are other arrangements that can be made. But our normal answer would be to direct you to our certified network.

Yes. Our system has a Magnetic Brake that engages every time the door panels are in the closed position. Additionally, if you by chance unlock your door and the door remains in the closed position, after 15 minutes the program will engage the Magnetic Brake to lock your door which allows for an additional security feature.

Yes. Our system has a Magnetic Clutch that disengages the drive shaft from the drive pulley to allow you to move the panels with very little resistance.

The system has a battery backup to keep the system secure during a brown out. If power will be out for a longer period of 8 hours or more or you plan on being away from the home for an extended period of time, we suggest manually locking your door.

No. Only Summit Automation certified installers can install the system, or the warranty is void. Summit Automation offers installer training at our Mesa, AZ location several times per month for anyone interested in becoming a certified installer.

Extremely reliable as our systems have been installed across thousands of doors and have gone through rigorous testing. Every system that leaves our Mesa facility goes through a full test with a fully weighted door under load. We know every component and full up system works prior to shipping.

If a sliding or pivot door works, we can automate it 99.99% of the time. Simply contact us on our website and we will be happy to discuss automating your doors (new construction, remodels, and retrofits). Soon we will be able to automate certain windows as well.

Soon, we are developing a security feature to allow you operate the door via Alexa. While the technology is there to do so today via a third-party provider, before we officially release our version, we want to be assured that just not anyone could walk up to your door and say, “Alexa, open my door.” Your safety is our concern so again, soon.
