We Celebrate a Successful 2024 and Strong Start to 2025

As we reflect on 2024, we are pleased to share that it was another successful year for Summit Automation and our Partners! The first quarter of 2025 has also started strong, and I am confident we will enjoy another successful year together.

A sincere thank you to our Customers and all our Partners—we couldn’t have done it without you. Please see below for a summary of recent highlights from Summit Automation.

  • 2024 was a successful year despite the election—our sincere thanks to all of our Customers!
  • Summit Automation has again sponsored two Capstone teams at ASU Polytechnic this semester—congratulations to the students!
  • We have expanded our team, hiring additional staff to meet the increased demand for products in 2025.
  • We installed approximately 40 new motors in showrooms nationwide, displacing existing systems. Usually, we’d refer to these as competitors, but once showroom managers compare systems, it becomes clear: Summit Automation has no true competition. Inspired by the iconic line from Tom Cruise in Risky Business—”There is no substitute!”
  • You may have noticed our social media posts highlighting our new advertising campaign in ICONIC magazine, launched in Palm Desert alongside Tommy Bahama’s Home Store, in addition to Orange County and Arizona. Brenda and I attended the successful launch party, and we’re excited about future ICONIC events with Summit.
  • The New American Home show house in Las Vegas prominently featured six of our motors, and the event was a tremendous success. Check out the video showcasing Summit Automation at the link below.
  • The International Builder Show (IBS) was another major success, with both new and existing door manufacturers showcasing their multi-slide and pivot doors powered by Summit Automation. Special thanks to our industry Partners and Master Manufacturing Representatives (MMRs) who supported Team Summit. We had outstanding meetings and established a record-breaking number of new relationships. Look forward to IBS 2026 in Orlando, followed by five more years in Las Vegas. Don’t miss our 2025 highlight reel linked below—it’s worth watching! Remember to look for our Pit Crew shirts at IBS events to easily find us on the showroom floor.
  • Our 2024 in-house training program, led by Jacob, certified over 100 new installers, many sponsored by our MMR network as their sub-installers. We expect even greater participation in 2025. Our expanding MMR network now covers more states and countries than ever, demonstrating the strength of our Service and Support network, a primary reason new window and door manufacturers are choosing Team Summit. Interested in becoming Summit Certified? Contact your territory sales manager or call our main number today!
  • Our 2025 MMR Conference later this year anticipates record-breaking attendance—stay tuned!
  • Lastly, we’ve successfully launched three new versions of our pivot door motors, introduced our tilt-up/servery window automation package, and installed our guillotine vertical lift automation package with excellent results. Next quarter, we’ll release our automated hinged door package, currently completing final testing.

Design Meets Nature: The Rise of the Disappearing Wall

Picture a stunning gliding wall, inviting you to soak in breathtaking views and the soothing sounds of nature. Disappearing walls are the innovative future of reconnecting with the outdoors.

The Roots of the Concept

The concept of merging indoor and outdoor spaces has a rich history. Think about the beautiful ancient Japanese shoji screens or the charming Mediterranean courtyards—they beautifully connected us to nature, allowing light and fresh air to flow in.

Yet, these earlier designs were a bit static. They were symbols that bridged the indoors and outdoors without truly blending the two.

The Technology Behind the Magic

Modern disappearing walls, powered by precision automation, propel oversized glass panels into hidden compartments or fold away neatly, out of sight. When in place, they offer insulation, soundproofing, and energy efficiency.

A Window to Nature

Disappearing walls open up amazing opportunities to bond with nature. Imagine savoring a morning coffee while gentle waves kiss the shore of a nearby beach or spotting deer peacefully grazing in the woods, all from the cozy nook of your living room. The walls seem to unpackage nature, framing the stunning landscape like a vibrant piece of art.

Elevating Luxury Living

The magic of disappearing walls truly transforms any living space into something special. They connect cozy living rooms to beautiful outdoor patios or stunning infinity pools. They’re the essence of seamless transitions. Inside, they elegantly divide spaces while still maintaining an airy openness, truly a standout feature in high-end home design.

A Statement of Modern Elegance

Disappearing walls do more than just showcase architectural creativity; they offer us a beautiful way to live in tune with nature. By blending modern luxury with the calmness of open, natural spaces, these walls transform the way we connect with our surroundings, inviting the beauty of the outdoors right into our homes.
